How will I receive my wedding photos?

After your wedding, I will endeavour to send you a sneak peek of around 20 photos within 24 hours so you have some to share straight away with your friends and family. Then you will receive the rest of the gallery around 4-6 weeks later. This will be delivered via an online gallery where you can download or print your photos as you wish. If you have purchased a full-day coverage package you will also receive a hard copy of your photos on a USB which will be delivered within 8 weeks of your big day.

What should I do when I receive my wedding photos?

When you receive your gallery, I strongly recommend you download the photos as soon as you can. Your online gallery will be live for 12 months, then it will be archived. But don’t worry if you haven’t already downloaded your photos as you will get an automatic reminder email a week before the gallery is archived. Alternatively, you can keep your gallery online indefinitely at a small fee of £50 per annum.

You also have the choice to buy prints and wall art directly through your online gallery too. These may be slightly more expensive than other places such as Boots for example, but they are printed in a professional lab so they will be of higher quality!

What should I save my photos on?

I always recommend having two copies of your photos so you have one as a backup. It’s good to have both digital and hard copies so you can be sure your photos are protected. Here are some ways you can save your photos:

  • On your computer hard drive

  • On a USB or external hard drive

  • Backing them up to an online software such as The Cloud or Backblaze

  • You can also print them as prints, wall art or create an album as a keepsake

  • I guarantee your photos for two years after the wedding date. Your online gallery will be live for 12 months and then it will be archived. After that I will keep a backup copy of your gallery on my own hard drives for another 12 months. Within this time if you would like to keep your online gallery for more than 12 months you can do so for a small fee of £50 per annum.

  • Once I have delivered your online gallery, it will be your responsibility to save the photos in any way you wish. Due to the high volume of weddings I shoot each year, I can not guarantee your photos for more than two years, so it is important to back up your photos as soon as you can when you receive them.

  • I strongly recommend you download a back up of your photos, even if you have a USB in your package. USBs are wonderful devices and mine are of the highest quality, but even then they can corrupt easily over time and can only be guaranteed for two years due to this. Therefore I encourage you to keep a separate copy of your photos as a back up just to be safe.

  • Absolutely! If you wish to purchase any USBs, prints, wall art or albums you can certainly do so through me. You can purchase prints and wall art directly through your online gallery when you receive it. For USBs and album sales you can contact me directly for a quote!
